Love is a strong feeling of affection and concern, attachment or devotion to a person or persons. This statement hereby implies that we are not wired to love just one person. Love in this context means to like another adult very much and be romantically and sexually attracted to them, or to have strong feelings of liking a friend or someone in your family.
Love itself can be complicated because it takes different forms, and you might not immediately recognize which type of love you’re feeling. Figuring out what type of love you feel might not always be the easiest task but it's necessary to draw the line to avoid leading others and yourself on.
When you love someone in a romantic or platonic way, there are few physical and emotional signs you'd notice.
• You occasionally think of them; sometimes you reminisce on the times you spent together or imagine future meetings and your reply to certain things that might be discussed.
• Trust is generally a key component of love. When you see someone you love, you might notice your tension relaxes.
• The urge to spend a lot of time together communicating; When you love someone, you got full transparency with them. You tell them about your strengths and weaknesses, the great things that happened to you at a particular event, how you almost burnt your noodles last night because you were drowsy and the very little information that most times seem like 'TMI' to others.
• The last emotional sign to be discussed is Jealousy. When you love someone, you might be conscious of the other people they spend time with and wonder about their relationship with each other. Or sometimes worry about potential threats to your love, such as an attractive co-worker they mention regularly or an old flame who’s still part of their life.
Falling in love is a beautiful experience although it sometimes comes with thorns and spines. Love doesn't happen the same way but perhaps you'll get to see the pattern it takes for you when you love someone...
