It has been a longggggg time here. I have missed people reading me🥺. My user and I had a little fight but fortunately, she picked me up today. Yayyy,😅🏂

Now unto the main business...

PsychIfe's anticipated election is almost here. The debate and manifesto scheduled to officially hold on the 2nd of June was a success. For the sake of those who couldn't make it there or a few people who came late, here is a list of all the qualified members vying for an executive position.

Let me walk you through the necessary details you might have missed.🚶‍♂️

1. Post: Director of Sports⚾

Name: Olaleye Solomon, A.K.A: Bosslee

I believe that through dedication innovation and collaboration, we can propel our sports program to new heights and inspire a lifelong passion for physical fitness and athletic excellence

2. Post - Director of Socials

Name - Olamide Babafewa

I aim to create a vibrant and inclusive environment where every student feels connected, celebrated, and heard. My vision goes beyond the usual means of bonding which has usually been laden with parties and events, but encompasses the essence of unity, camaraderie, and respect for individual preferences which I believe stands above all.

3. Post: Director of Socials

Name Ikuejawa Oyinlola

Inclusivity is key and I plan on taking that first step through communication empowered by visible action.  I also know I have the best collection of experience and skills that would help me carry this out most effectively. Redefining Socials and sticking to our roots is key and I, Oyinlola will be doing that.

4. Post of the Treasurer 

Name: Folowosele Abosede Deborah

FAD is all about FACT(Financial Prudency, Accuracy, Competency&Transparency). If elected as the Treasurer, these principles would be applied for effective management of the financial resources of the association.

 5. Post of Vice President Academics

NAME: ADEDEJI JOSHUA 

I am a highly motivated individual, and once I set my focus on achieving something, I go all out to make it happen. That's why I am running for this position—to serve the department and create an environment of positive interaction and involvement at all levels. 

6. Post of the Public Relations Officer

Name Craig Adebanji

I aim to work closely with fellow Executive members to improve communication between the association and its members. I will also create a feedback mechanism that allows members to share their thoughts and concerns.

7. Post: Assistant General Secretary

Name: Josiah Omokanyani 

My intentions to serve the PsychIfe Association and the Department of Psychology are genuine, and I am confident in my ability to deliver quality service to the students and the association at large.

8. Post: Librarian

Name: Ifeoluwa Oni

I am a lover of books and I understand their importance to human development. I would love to inculcate this spirit into the association as well. To do this I would need your votes. Vote for me and see a difference.

9. Post: General Secretary

Name: Adekunle Precious Adetoun (Pea Jay)

I aim to enhance our administrative affairs: making them more presentable and inclusive... not only for our current members but also for our alumni.

Name: Idowu Simileoluwa Victoria

I am a smart young lady whose motivation is majorly from my desire and passion to serve the association. I have garnered Experience serving as a leader in different capacities, I am a great team player, I have a heart for the people, and I firmly believe that a progressive and all-inclusive PSYCHIFE is still very much possible. "A secured future is possible only if we create it together."

11. Post: Vice President Welfare.

Name:Omowumi Tolulope Ayodeji. 

I have been the welfare director of my class since my part 1 days and I have been an active member of CLASSE FC. I am good at relating with many of the students in my class and the department as a whole, I do care for students especially those who are in my department. I will ensure that I promote the well-being of students, be collaborative to ensure the good of PSYCHIFE, be supportive, and ensure all-inclusive tenure if elected. Thank you.

12. Post: President

Name: Juliet Obaniyi Oluwafunmibi

She is a 300L student of Psychology (Class of Classe) and has volunteered for several health initiatives such as the Mental Health Support Initiative (MHSI), and Lagos Food Bank Initiative (LFBI), among others. Juliet Obaniyi was also a member of the planning committee for the PsychIfe conference 2.0 and this has helped her develop core skills like active communication, conflict management, team building and delegation, and empathy.

I aim to improve unionism among PsychIfe members by helping them understand the importance of attending congresses and sittings.

13. Post: President

Name: Ugonna Amaechina (p.k.a Ujee) 

I have been privileged to work closely with different presidents and different administrations within PSYCHIFE. I have seen firsthand what they have done and I know better learning from their mistakes and achievement, this has given me a better understanding of what PSYCHIFE needs RIGHT now. 

That's why I have hinged my campaign on these 3 concepts:

- Pain Point Identification

- Proven Competency

- Participative Leadership

14. Post: Financial Secretary

Name: Oluwatomisin Olajmoke Okeowo

Originally admitted into the Department of Management and Accounting Department, Tomisin has basic knowledge of accounting principles and processes and has learned effective money management methods. 

I will endure transparent financial management of the association, funds by maintaining accurate records and providing regular financial reports to members. She is the quintessential executive that PsychIfe needs.

These are the individuals contesting for executive positions for the next administration. PSYCHIFE, let's vote for the individuals of our choice.
