THE MORALS OF THE SERIES: MONEY HEIST

Recently, the popular series, Money Heist 4, was released and while many would watch the movie for entertainment purposes, it would be of great benefit to you to inculcate the morals of the movie into your own daily lives.

While there are many lessons to be learnt from the incredible movie, there is a particular one i would like to focus on.

If you followed the series from the first episode, you would have noticed a recurrent theme and that is the fact that the Professor planned for " almost everything " which meant that he thought of, not only the means of escape but also almost every single obstacle that may arise during each move.

In life, most people often delude themselves into thinking they are planning for the future while all they do is plan for and let themselves be controlled by the happy ending they want, thereby forsaking the harsh reality.

Yes, some people actually plan for obstacles that may arise in the process of achieving their goals, but most times, these obstacles are not intricately laid out and planned for.

In fact, a lot just rely on their courage and ability to think and improvise on the spot.

Improvisation, although comes with a lot of benefits and advantages, is not and can never be a substitute for a well laid-out plan. When improvising, we only create a second best solution to a problem. Though it might get us past the problem in the meantime, it is only going to lead us as far as the next problem we encounter.

There are very few people who have the self control and discipline to think, feel, and plan beyond the present moment. In reality, the concept of delayed gratification is alien to some people due to lack of self-restraint.

There's probably no game that typifies planning ahead more than the game of chess♟, where you have to plan your moves beyond the moment.

Of course, life is not predictable and the future is uncertain and to be honest, it is improbable to predict and plan ahead with pure accuracy, everything that will happen along the way.

In making plans, it is, therefore, important to have alternatives and be equipped with a certain degree of flexibility.

In those situations, a plan B, C, D, E, F is essential and should be in your repertoire.
